Love me without.....

“Love me without restriction,  Trust me without fear, Want me without demand and accept me for who I am.”
My initial reaction to it was – Wow! Excellent!. Then I read it again, something about it made me uneasy. My mind began to whir. I was compelled to delve deeper to find that which was hiding behind the attractive facade.
Once the seemingly open words had their free-spirited veneer chipped away, I began to feel restricted by them. When I first read them, it was as though I was the person saying those words, so they seemed right. But then I read them as though they were being said to me, and I felt that I was being given a set of rules of interaction. As long as I followed this person’s rules, they would allow me to love them, but if I broke the rules, they would leave me because I obviously didn't understand them or their needs.
“Love me without restriction” – is a restriction being imposed by someone who doesn't want to be tied down, upon someone they are tying down with their words. As in, I am now telling you exactly how you must love me.
“Trust me without fear” – is a fear-inducing statement. As soon as anyone says something like that, you can be fairly certain that they are probably untrustworthy. People who are trustworthy rarely feel the need to say ‘Trust me’, as they know that they are and it would never occur to them to think that they are not. They might say it, if the other person had questioned their trustworthiness, but they would probably not add ‘without fear’. The addition of ‘without fear’ intensifies the sense that this person is not to be trusted.
“Want me without demand and accept me for who I am” – is a demand. The person saying this is doing the very thing that they do not want done to them. They are not accepting the person they are saying this to as they are, because they are telling them who they want them to be. They are demanding them to be undemanding. But what if the person at the receiving end of these words has needs too.
I flip things around a lot in my mind. Whenever someone says anything to me, especially when it is directed at me, such as a question, a criticism, or a compliment, after hearing it, rather than absorb it into myself, I tend to mirror it back at them. People, including me, talk about themselves all the time, sometimes they do it in a straightforward manner, and sometimes they do it in an indirect manner. They project themselves onto others, using others as their mirror image, detached from them, yet still a part of them.
This quote is a puzzle often encountered in relationships. What we want versus what the other wants. And what we want from others is not necessarily what we give in return. We often ask for things, behaviors, from others which we are not able or prepared to offer to them. Perhaps the reason we are asking for it is because we believe that we do not have it, or we have a very tiny supply and we guard it with our life, so we can’t give it away as it is too precious a resource. It’s tricky.
There was a time in my life when I felt very misunderstood by the world, and the thing I wanted most from others was to be understood. I craved understanding. Being misunderstood was one of my greatest fears. So much so, that I saw misunderstandings everywhere. I lived in a permanent state of being misunderstood. The frustration of it drove me up the walls and on to the ceiling to which I clung, growling, hissing, and sometimes spitting at those who were on the floor below me. I eventually fell off the ceiling, hit my head on the floor, and came to my senses. I realized that most of the misunderstandings I saw others having about me, actually belonged to me. As I assimilated this realization, I began to turn the projection around. If I wanted to be understood, then I needed to learn to understand.
First I needed to understand myself. This was a shock. There I was demanding that others understand me, and I didn't understand myself. Then I saw that that was partly why I wanted others to understand me, I hoped they would share their insights about me with me because I didn't have any.
Once I had gained some understanding of myself, I turned my attention to others, and learned to understand them. Who they were, what they wanted, needed, etc. The greatest surprise I had was seeing that everyone craved understanding from others. So I tried to give it as best as I could without asking for it in return. The more I understood about others, the more I understood about myself. And strangely enough, I began to see how well others understood me.
That’s the paradox. What we want from others, we only get from them when we give it freely to them without asking for anything in return. So this person who wrote this quote, who wants love without restriction, trust without fear, to be wanted without demand, and be accepted for who they are… if they gave all of these things freely to others, they would not need to say these words at all.
So, What do you think?

ZAM ZAM WATER-A THOROUGH RESEARCH !!! AND ADDITIONAL INFO

We  came  here again to perform the Omrah, and I am reminded of the
wonders  of  Zam-zam.  Let  me  go  back to how it all started. In 1971, an
Egyptian  doctor  wrote to the European Press, a letter saying that Zam-zam water
was  not  fit  for drinking purposes. I immediately thought that this was just
a  form  of  prejudice  against  the  Muslims and that since his statement
was  based  on  the  assumption that since the Ka'aba was a shallow place
(below  sea  level) and located in the center of the city of Makkah, the
wastewater of the city collecting through the drains fell into well holding the water.
Fortunately,  the  news came to King Faisal's ears who got extremely
angry  and  decided  to  disprove  the Egyptian doctor's provocative statement.
He  immediately  ordered  the  Ministry  of  Agriculture and Water Resources
to  investigate  and send samples of Zam-zam water to European laboratories
for testing  the  potability  of  the  water.  The ministry then instructed
the Jeddah Power and Desalination Plant to carry out this task.

It  was  here  that  I  was  employed  as  a  desalting  engineer
(chemical  engineer)to  produce  drinking water from sea water). I was chosen to
carry out  this assignment. At this stage, I remember that I had no idea what
the well  holding  the  water looked like. I went to Makkah and reported to
the authorities at the Ka'aba explaining my purpose of visit.

They  deputed  a man to give me whatever help was required. When we
reached  the  well,  it was hard for me to believe that a pool of water, more like
a small  pond,  about  18  by 14 feet, was the well that supplied millions
of gallons  of  water every year to hajis ever since it came into existence
at the time of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S., many, many centuries ago.

I  started  my  investigations and took the dimensions of the well. I
asked  the  man  to  show  me  the  depth  of the well. First he took a shower
and descended  into  the  water.  Then he straightened his body. I saw that
the water level came up to just above his shoulders. His height was around
five feet,  eight inches. He then started moving from one corner to the other
in the  well  (standing all the while since he was not allowed to dip his
head into  the  water) in search of any inlet or pipeline inside the well to
see from  where  the water came in. However, the man reported that he could
not find any inlet or pipeline inside the well.

I  thought  of  another idea. The water could be withdrawn rapidly with
the help of a big transfer pump which was installed at the well for the
Zam-zam water storage tanks. In this way, the water level would drop enabling us
to locate the point of entry of the water.

Surprisingly,  nothing  was  observed during the pumping period, but I
knew that  this  was the only method by which you could find the entrance of
the water  to  the  well.  So  I decided to repeat the process. But this time
I instructed  the  man  to stand still at one place and carefully observe
any unusual  thing happening inside the well. After a while, he suddenly
raised his  hands  and  shouted,  "Alhamdollillah!  I  have  found it. The sand
is dancing  beneath  my  feet  as the water oozes out of the bed of the well."

Then  he  moved  around  the well during the pumping period and noticed
the same phenomenon everywhere in the well. Actually the flow of water into
the well  through  the  bed was equal at every point, thus keeping the level
of the  water  steady.  After I finished my observations I took the samples
of the  water  for  European laboratories to test. Before I left the Ka'aba,
I asked the authorities about the other wells around Makkah.

I  was  told  that these wells were mostly dry. When I reached my office
in Jeddah  I  reported my findings to my boss who listened with great
interest but  made  a  very  irrational  comment  that  the  Zam-zam  well  could
be internally  connected  to  the  Red Sea. How was it possible when Makkah
is about 75 kilometres away from the sea and the wells located before the
city usually  remains  dry?  The  results  of  the  water  samples tested by
the European  laboratories  and  the one We analysed in our own laboratory
were found to be almost identical.

The  difference  between  Zam-zam water and other water (city water) was
in the  quantity  of  calcium  and  magnesium  salts. The content of these
was slightly higher in zam-zam water. This may be why this water refreshes
tired hajis,  but  more  significantly, the water contains fluorides that have
an effective   germicidal  action.  Moreover,  the  remarks  of  the European
laboratories showed that the water was fit for drinking. Hence the
statement made by the Egyptian doctor was proved false.

When  this was reported to King Faisal he was extremely pleased and
ordered the  contradiction  of the report in the European Press. In a way, it was
a blessing that this study was undertaken to show the chemical composition
of the  water. In fact, the more you explore, the more wonders surface and
you find yourself believing implicitly in the miracles of this water that
Allah bestowed  as  a gift on the faithful coming from far and wide to the
        desert land for pilgrimage.

Let me sum up some of the features of zam-zam water.

This  well  has never dried up. On the contrary it has always fulfilled
the demand  for  water.  It has always maintained the same salt composition
and taste  ever  since  it  came into existence. Its potability has always
been universally  recognised  as  pilgrims  from all over the world visit
Ka'aba every year for Hajj and umrah, but have never complained about it.
Instead, they  have  always  enjoyed  the  water  that  refreshes them.
Water tastes different at different places.

Zam-zam water's appeal has always been universal. This water has never
been chemically treated or chlorinated as is the case with water pumped into
the cities. Biological growth and vegetation usually takes place in most wells.

Do u know the miracles of zamzam?...?

        ZamZam water level is
        around 10.6 feet below the
surface. It is the miracle of
        Allah that when Zam Zam
        was pumped continuously
for more than 24 hours with
        a pumping rate of 8,000
        liters per second, water level
        dropped to almost 44 feet
        below the surface,

        BUT WHEN
        THE PUMPING WAS STOPPED,
        the level immediately
        elevated again to 13 feet
        after 11 minutes.
        8,000 liters per second
        means that
        8,000 x 60 = 480,000 liters
        per minute
        480,000 liters per minutes
        means
        that 480,000 x 60 = 28.8
        Million liters per hour
        And 28.8 Million liters per
        hour
        means that 28,800,000 x 24
= 691.2 Million liters per day
        So they pumped 690 Millions
liters of ZamZam in 24 hours,
but it was re-supplied in 11
        minutes only.

There are 2 miracles here, the
        first that ZamZam was re-
        filled immediately, & the
second is that Allah Holds the
        extra-ordinaril y powerful
        Aquifer for not throwing
        extra ZamZam out of the
        well, otherwise the world
        will SINK.

        It is the translation
        of the word ZamZam, which
        means Stop !!!!!!!!!!!!
        Stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! said by
        Hajirah Alaih As Salaam.

Zimam is an Arabic word, it is
the rope / REIN attached to
bridle or noseband & it is
used / pulled to stop the
        running animal.

        Zamzam water ♥
has no colour or smell, but it
        has a distinct taste

This makes the water unpalatable owing to the growth of algae causing
        taste and odour problems.

But  in  the  case  of  the  Zam-zam  water  well, there wasn't any sign
of biological  growth. Centuries ago, Bibi Hajra A.S. searched desperately
for water  in the hills of Sufwa and Murwa to give to her newly born son Hazrat
Ismail  A.S.  As  she ran from one place to another in search of water,
her child  rubbed  his  feet against the sand. A pool of water surfaced, and
by the  grace  of  Allah,  shaped  itself  into a well which came to be called Zam-zam water.
